PostSubject: Lieutenant Ralph Arthur Penrhyn Clements   Wed Jan 06, 2010 11:05 pm

Served in South Africa 5th March 1875 - 1st June 1881 (WO76/235). Served against the Galekas and was present at Newmarks. Served in the Zulu War 1879, present at Ulundi. Served in Burma at Bbur, in which action he was severely wounded, and at Taindah where he was slightly wounded. Served in South Africa, 1900 - 1902.
CB; DSO; South Africa Medal with Clasp 1877-8-9; India General Service Medal 1854 with Clasps Burma 1885 - 87; Burma 1887 - 89; Queen’s South Africa Medal with Clasps Cape Colony, Transvaal, Wittebergen; King’s South Africa Medal with Clasps; Jubilee Medal 1897; Coronation Medal 1902. (Regimental Property).
